On this National Day of Protest Against Police Brutality, we amplify the voices of those who can no longer speak, remembering the lives lost to senseless violence at the hands of those sworn to protect. Every name represents a life unjustly taken, a family torn apart, and a community left in pain. As we honor their memory, we also renew our commitment to seeking justice, accountability, and lasting change in a system that disproportionately harms marginalized communities. We protest today not only to mourn but to demand action — reforms that prioritize humanity, equity, and dignity for all. Their names will continue to echo until justice is served. We won't stop fighting until every life is valued equally.

Join us each month for our virtual Zoom vigils as we honor the lives lost to police brutality. These gatherings are a space to remember, reflect, and amplify the names of those taken too soon. “To say we are grateful for the outpouring of support this weekend would be a major understatement. Y’all really came through for Sonya Massey. We had nearly 50 people come out to show their support and rally against police violence. Sonya Massey deserves to be alive still and police violence disproportionately affects black lives all across the country. We cannot simply sit idly by and watch. We must make a stand for our friends and neighbors of color.

We also had over 40 people attend our power-building meeting. Personally, I am so thankful to everyone who participated and wants to see a broader coalition form here locally. We are ready to take part, and we are so thankful for everyone else who are already - and who want to - put in the effort to see this work grow.

And of course, a huge thank you to for allowing us a space to collaborate together, and honor Sonya Massey. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing space here in our backyard.

🍉🙏🏾❤️Thank You for Standing with Us on the National Day of Rage

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who participated in the National Day of Rage, whether you were on the ground, joined us digitally via Zoom, or tuned in to the livestream. Your presence and passion made this movement stronger, and together, we raised our voices for justice.

This day was a powerful reminder that when we unite, we can bring attention to the injustices that continue to plague our communities. We stand together in the fight for accountability, justice, and systemic change.

Say her name 🗣🗣—SONYA MASSEY—and let her memory fuel our resolve.

ACROSS THE NATION WE SHARE A COLLECTIVE RAGE !!! DONT JUST LET YOUR RAGE SETTLE đź—Łđź—Ł

We, are a dedicated group of organizers united under the name of Sonya Massey—a victim of police violence—are calling for your support and action. Since Sonya's tragic death on July 6, 2024, over 100 more lives have been lost to more of the same violence. Sonya was not the first, and she was not the last.

We continue to seek Justice for:
