Hey Lakes Region gardeners, this ones for you! Belknap House will be holding our Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 during the Gilford Old Home Day Celebration. Please save the date and save your splits! We are looking for 200 perennial plant donations (potted with name, color, size, sun and water requirements).

You can drop off your plant donations at Belknap House, 200 Court St. in Laconia, between August 26-28.

The Annual Plant Sale fundraiser will support our mission to provide children with safe shelter and empower parents to become independent through comprehensive case management and educational programming.

We’re excited to invite you to take part in NH Gives on June 9–10—a powerful opportunity to support the nonprofits and community organizations that New Hampshire relies on now more than ever.

This year, Belknap House has set a goal to raise $10,000 to fulfill our mission and end the cycle of homelessness. With your generosity, we can provide children with safe shelter and empower parents to become independent through comprehensive case management and educational programming.

On Tuesday, April 21st, the Girls Softball team from Holderness School shared their day of service with Belknap House. They generously helped finish our spring yard work and cleaned out our shed. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity!

On Tuesday, April 14, members of the New Hampton School, accompanied by their Class Advisor, arrived at Belknap House equipped with lawn rakes, youthful energy, and a spirit of service to help Belknap House with its spring clean-up. After participating in a presentation about Belknap House, the team of students got to work outside. Three hours later, our garden beds were weeded and our lawns revitalized by a vigorous raking! As our message board reads, New Hampton School, You Rock!!

What an exciting auction this year! With your help and the support of our generous community partners, we raised $5,898.53 in our Annual Online Auction. This would not be possible without the wonderful donations we received and the amazing bidders who participated in the auction. We hope everyone enjoys the fun adventures and gifts they won!
