- New Business: Review status of new Human Relations Committee – City Manager Kirk Beattie

The public is invited to offer their opinions. Initially, they will be limited to four minutes until all have had an opportunity to speak. Each person is constrained to their time period or to ask questions of the committee. Everyone is expected to speak respectfully.
If on Zoom, the public will be visible but muted until unmuted by the chair. Members of the public wishing to speak will use the “raise hand” option.

The Laconia Human Relations Committee condemns the recent horrific acts of vilolence at Brown University and in Sydney, Australia - and will continue our efforts to prevent prejudice, intolerance, harassment and discrimination. We acknowledge and appreciate the heroic efforts of civilians and first responders. We offer our condolences to all affected by these senseless acts of vilolence.

Please join us as we hear from a panel of community members and then
be part of our interactive Question and Answer session

This is an opportunity to learn as a community what is happening –
the good, the bad, and the ugly.

This is an opportunity for all of us to hear concerns and fears, but
it is also an opportunity to hear about suggestions and ideas.

Even the longest journey begins with a single step.
