Join artist Larry Frates Creates at Prescott Farm next weekend for Drawing Nature with Water-Based Oil Pastels! The session will provide hands on instruction, all of the materials, the variety of water based oil pastels available, their application characteristics, background information of how oil pastels were created and of course, hands on Studio Time to create your personal creative piece based on Nature.

All Staff Day was a huge success today! We started off at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Franklin Falls Dam where we learned all about flood risk management and their 4,000 acres of recreation land. We ended the day at the beautiful Tarbin Gardens in Franklin, walking the grounds, connecting as a team, and planning the future so we can continue connecting our community to the natural outdoors!

Don't forget about our Plein Aire Art Exhibit! 🖼️🌿

Plein air painting embraces the connection between art and nature! We invite you to come find a spot on our 160-acre property to create something beautiful, then display your artwork at Prescott Farm during our annual Harvest Festival!

Important Details & Requirements:

Submission Deadline: Artwork must be dropped off by September 1st (Drop-off ready-to-hang art with wire backing only between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Education Center).

Sizing: Artwork needs to be framed and not exceed 12″ x 16″ (framed).

Cost: FREE (No entry fee!).

Limit: The exhibition is limited to 24 artists, so be sure to register early!
