New Hampshire Humane Society Helping pets & the people who love them for 126 years ❤️ On May 16, 2006 the NHHS opened its new facility to the public.

Since that time, adoption rates have increased dramatically, with an adoption rate hovering at 96%. Nationally, only 16% of people go to a shelter for their next pet. New Hampshire Humane Society has the third highest adoption rate in New England, demonstrating the quality of care and the passion our team has for this mission.

ADOPTED!*

Meet Rupert. He knows what he likes, and he definitely knows what he *doesn't* like. He likes treats, doing things on his own terms, and exploring new spaces. He does NOT like cats. They are just a hard no!

If you're looking for someone who knows exactly what he wants, Rupert is your man. 🖤

OPEN Tuesday–Saturday, 12–4 PM!
