Our goals for 2026 include:
Install 400 filters.
Begin filter installation in 5 new villages with community health promoters.
Expand service to NGO’s.
Implement mWater software for project records. Every installation tracked with GPS.
Train 2 new filter technicians.
Seek a new delivery truck

In addition to the installation of water filters, Hands Helping Haiti also provides programs to educate people on the importance of clean water. Our staff, including community health promoters, reach out throughout the southeast province of Haiti, teaching good hygiene and sanitation principles.

Hands Helping Haiti aims to help community members in the southeast province of Haiti have continual access to clean drinking water. "As of 2023, the most recent date for which data was available, only 51 percent of Haitians had access to electricity, and only intermittently and at high prices. Some 35 percent of the population lacks access to clean drinking water." - Human Rights Watch
