Today, we honor the mothers being celebrated with hugs, laughter, flowers, phone calls, and time spent with the children they love.

And we also hold space for the mothers, grandmothers, and children carrying grief, silence, distance, or uncertainty this Mother’s Day.

For some families, the day carries profound joy. For others, it carries ambiguous loss, disrupted connection, emotional burden, or hope for healing and reconnection.

At PACCS, we believe children should never be placed in the middle of adult conflict or expected to carry emotional burdens beyond their developmental capacity. Children deserve the freedom to love safe and caring people in their lives without pressure, guilt, fear, or divided loyalties.

Today, we acknowledge:
• Mothers nurturing joyful connection
• Mothers and grandmothers loving from a distance
• Children carrying confusion, grief, or divided loyalties
• Families working toward healing, reconnection, and safety

To every mother today — seen, unseen, celebrated, grieving, reconnecting, or hoping — we see your love. 💜

Mother’s Day Reflection

For all the mothers in our community—no matter your stage or circumstances—today is a day to honor the heart of a mother.

Your strength, your spirit, and your capacity for unconditional love matter—whether your children are by your side or held in your heart from a distance.

Motherhood isn’t defined by proximity, but by the bond that never really breaks.

Today, take a moment to honor the gift of creating life and the beauty of each child we’re connected to—in our homes, our work, and our hearts.

Wishing you peace and a few meaningful moments today.

This is how you make a change. It doesn't matter who you are, what matters is that you are present. My advocacy began as an effort for my children until I realized it wasn't about them anymore; it was about something bigger. It was about them never experiencing what I had. No child should.
