We are so lucky to be able to spread the news of such awesome things that happen with the youth of our city. We know that 95 percent of the people on our page have the same pride we do, but there will always be those who look to the negative.....

For those few that are not here to spread praise and positivity, please do not spread your negativity on our page. Feel free to stay as a follower, and hopefully you will see what we see--hope for the future!

LEEF is proud to be a sponsor of this year's LHS musical Newsies! If you haven't had a chance to go see it, you still have one more night!!! The last show will be tomorrow, Saturday at 7pm....Doors open at 630pm!

Congratulations to all of the cast, crew and staff for putting on such an awesome production. We are so proud of you!!!

LEEF is a proud sponsor of this year's LCSD performance of Newsies. We can't wait to see all of the students showing their talents both on and off the stage!!! The time and dedication of the students, staff and volunteers is amazing! Here's to another great year for our kids!

The LEEF organization is committed to seeing the youth of the City Of Lackawanna have opportunities beyond their everyday experiences. This past year, we have been able to team up with the Steel City Elite Sports Club and help them reach their goals to head to ESPN Disney to compete at a national flag football tournament. These fine young men have, in return, helped us at our annual meat raffle to be our meat and basket runners! We were pleasantly surprised when we were sent pictures of the 2026 uniforms with the LEEF symbol on both the tops and bottoms!

We hope this helps to spread our message that the youth of Lackawanna deserve it! Good luck in Florida boys! Make us PROUD!!!

We were so happy to get a card with handwritten thank you notes from the LHS bowling team. LEEF was able to help fund team sweatshirts for our bowlers!!! Thank you Coach Ochal for these great pictures!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much to all that came out last night for our annual meat raffle! It was a big success and a great time! A big shout out to all that donated baskets and prizes and a HUGE shout out to our runners from LHS varsity cheerleaders and football, Steel City Elite flag football and the Kwiatkowski brothers. Without these great group of kids, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly! They are the reason we do what we do, the kids of our great city! Here are a few photos from last night...
