Truman School PTA Truman School PTA (TSPTA) is a growing group of parents, family members, teachers and community members advocating for children and youth in our community.

Our goals for the 2016-2017 school year are to increase our advocacy efforts; to foster improved communication between our schools, school board, parents and community; and to continue to encourage parent involvement at Truman School.

Important Summer Camp update for LCSD families:

This year’s Summer Camp will look a little different as the district moves into Phase II of its capital project. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Summer Camp will be held at the McKinley Administration Building, 245 South Shore Street, Lackawanna, NY 14218, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and transportation will be provided.

The schedule is:

July 6-9: Kindergarten and Grade 1
July 13-16: Grades 2 and 3
July 20-23: Grades 4 and 5
July 27-30: Girls only, Kindergarten through Grade 5 and Grades 9 through 12

Enrollment is limited to 45 students per week and will be first come, first served.

Registration is due by June 15.

🚧 DPW Day is right around the corner!

Join the Erie County Department of Public Works and Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry next Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Como Lake Park for this FREE, family-friendly event!

Climb aboard and explore trucks & heavy equipment! There will also be activities, food trucks and more!

“Quiet Hours” are available from 10AM to 1PM for children and individuals sensitive to loud noises.
