The wait is over! The Endless Mountains Primitive Outdoorsmen Scholarship Shoot is happening today.

Join us for a fun day of traditional muzzleloading competition, camaraderie, and support for our annual scholarship program.

Whether you're competing or just stopping by to watch, we'd love to see you there.

Bring your flintlock or percussion round ball rifle and enjoy a great day with fellow shooters while helping support local students pursuing higher education.

Registration forms will be available at the event for anyone who has not pre registered.

We’re set up today at the Bradford County Conservation District Earth Day Event! Stop by and visit the Endless Mountains Primitive Outdoorsmen table to learn more about early American skills, traditional craftsmanship, muzzleloading history, and the heritage we work to preserve.

Come out, say hello, and enjoy a great day celebrating conservation, history, and the outdoors!

❄️ 2026 Black Powder Winter Rifle Frolic ❄️

Join Endless Mountains Primitive Outdoorsmen for our annual Black Powder Winter Rifle Frolic on February 7, 2026 — snow, cold, or sunshine! The event is still on, and we are looking forward to a great day of shooting and camaraderie.

📸 The photo attached shows the sign attendees should watch for when approaching the Legion grounds.

⚠️ Safety is our top priority, and we understand that extremely cold conditions are expected. We want everyone to stay comfortable while enjoying the event. Due to the extreme cold temperatures, our Novelty Woods Walk has been reduced to six stations to help limit exposure to the elements. Competitors and spectators are welcome to warm up inside the Legion throughout the day. We will have:

☕ Coffee Bar & Tea Bar available (donation based)
🍩 Donuts, cookies, and other refreshments available (donation based)
🔥 Outdoor fires and warming stations available during the entire competition
🏠 Indoor space available for refreshments, relaxing, and good conversation

Happy Pennsylvania Flintlock Muzzleloader Season!

We wish everyone a safe and successful season as we celebrate this uniquely traditional hunt.

The Endless Mountains Primitive Outdoorsmen is dedicated to preserving and educating others about the skills, customs, and culture of early America, particularly during the mid-1700s, and there is nothing quite like seeing, and smelling, that history come alive with the crack of a flint and the burn of black powder in the cold air.

Keep your powder dry, your shots true, and your traditions strong!
