A trusted real estate agent can become one of the most valuable relationships you'll build in business. Visit and meet Denise Steigers - Olympic Sotheby's International Realty. She's been a member for 11 years and she's given close to 1500 referrals that have resulted in $2.4 million in closed business.

Why Every Business Should Know a Great Real Estate Agent

Most people think real estate agents help people buy and sell homes.

The best ones do so much more.

They're invited into some of life's biggest transitions—buying a first home, growing a family, relocating for a new career, downsizing after retirement, navigating divorce, caring for aging parents, or helping settle the estate of a loved one.

Those moments often come with questions that have nothing to do with real estate.

"Do you know a good financial advisor?"

"Can you recommend a contractor?"

"Who's a trustworthy insurance agent?"

"Do you know an estate planning attorney?"

"I need a painter...a mover...an electrician..."

A great real estate agent isn't just opening doors to homes. They're opening doors to trusted relationships.

That's why they're one of the most valuable connections a business owner can have.

At BNI, you'll meet professionals like this every week—people who build their businesses by building trust, serving others, and connecting clients with the right people at the right time.

Ready to meet professionals like these? Visit BNI Pacific Northwest at www.bnipnw.com and ask Higgins, our AI assistant, to help you find the chapter that's the best fit for your business. If you'd rather talk with a real person, call or email Micki at 360.649.6589 or [email protected]. I'd be happy to help.

As we head into the Fourth of July weekend, I've been thinking about how many people it takes to help a business succeed.

Clients who choose to work with us. Referral partners who recommend us. Friends and family who encourage us when things get tough. Employees, contractors, mentors, advisors, and fellow business owners who share ideas, support, and sometimes a much needed reality check.

Running a business can feel like a very individual journey, but hte truth is that none of us gets very far alone.

This week, I'm especially grateful for the poeple who continue to invest in one another, support local businesses, and help create stronger communities through the relationships they build every day.

I'm also grateful for those whose service, and contributions helped make those communities possible in the first place.

I hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July and a have a chance to spend time with the people who matter most.

Happy Independence Day from BNI Pacific Northwest.

🐜 Tomorrow’s Presenter: Our President, Owner of 360 Pest Solutions

Tomorrow at Capital Business Referrals, we’re hearing from our chapter president and the owner‑operator of 360 Pest Solutions, a full‑service pest control company based right here in Olympia.
360 Pest Solutions helps homeowners and businesses throughout the Puget Sound stay protected year‑round. From identifying what’s causing the problem, to eliminating it, to putting prevention plans in place, their team handles every step with professionalism and care. They use the latest techniques and environmentally‑friendly products to keep spaces safe, healthy, and pest‑free.

What makes this presentation especially valuable is how much people don’t know about pest behavior, seasonal patterns, and the small issues that can turn into big problems if they’re ignored. You’ll walk away with practical knowledge you can use immediately — whether you own a home, manage a property, or simply want to understand how to keep pests out before they become a headache.
If you’ve been curious about what full‑service pest control really looks like, tomorrow is a great time to visit and learn directly from an expert.

He helps business owners understand where they’re losing money, where they can save, and how to create a smoother experience for their customers.

Whether you’re a retail shop, service provider, contractor, or anyone who accepts payments, Ryan’s presentation will give you a clearer picture of what’s possible and how better merchant services can support your growth.

If you’ve been wanting to learn more about how payment systems really work — and how to make them work for you — this is a great week to visit.

Tomorrow at Capital Business Referrals, we’re hearing from Raymond, the owner of Rapid Reviews — and if you’ve ever wondered how much your online reviews really matter, this is a presentation you don’t want to miss.

Raymond doesn’t just help businesses get real reviews from real customers. He shows you how to turn those reviews into actual visibility, trust, and revenue. Most business owners think reviews are just “nice to have,” but Raymond breaks down how they directly impact your Google ranking, your credibility, and how many people choose you over a competitor.

He’ll be sharing how reviews work behind the scenes, what Google looks for, and how to maximize the impact of every single one.

If you’ve been wanting to understand how reviews can actually grow your business — not just sit on your profile — tomorrow is the perfect time to visit and learn.

Visitors are always welcome. Send us a message if you’d like the meeting details.
