This season is all about renewal, family, and a little bit of fun—especially when it comes to eggs! Did you know that around 180 million eggs are purchased each year for Easter? 🥚 That’s a huge moment for agriculture, supporting farmers and food producers across the country.

From colorful egg hunts to delicious holiday meals, eggs play a big role in our celebrations—and they all start on the farm. 🚜🐓

So as you enjoy your Easter traditions, take a moment to appreciate the hardworking farmers who help make it all possible. 💛

Last weekend we had the opportunity to attend the American Farm Bureau Federation Leadership Conference in Portland, OR. It was an amazing opportunity to be surrounded with 920+ young farmers and ranchers. 

We got to learn about succession planning, leadership skills, and how to have hard conversations with our peers. We had 22 of our members attend, one of which, Staci Maiden, competed in the collegiate discussion meet. Hearing from keynote speaker Keni Thomas was inspirational, and we were beaming with pride as one of our own, Kait Thornton, shared what it is like growing apples while connecting the public to the product. 

It was a great time learning, growing, and networking with others from around the country. We can’t wait for the next time!
