SALMON HOMECOMING ALLIANCE CELEBRATION
CALL OUT FOR VENDORS
SEPTEMBER 19, 2026
SEATTLE WATERFRONT
This year is our 34th annual Salmon Homecoming Celebration and it is going to be bigger and better than ever! The Waterfront has been renovated; the New Seattle Aquarium addition is open and the Big Wheel continues to draw people in (regardless of the weather!) and there are more visitors than ever coming down to the waterfront!
VENDING HOURS AND FEES
NOTE: Due to the popularity of this event, vendors showing up without prior application and payment submittal will be put on a waiting list and placed (if space is still available) after all others who submitted are assigned their spaces.
Vending hours will be on Saturday, September 19th, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We’re offering vendors an amazing deal! First, because of the continued construction and the high cost of parking there will be a small fee of just $75 for a 10 x 10 space or $150 for a 10 x 20. Second, we’re providing tenting for you. The reason being the pier is concrete and Friends of the Waterfront, who have responsibility for all that happens on the pier, require professional installation to ensure no one ends up in the water. Good idea.
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT PROCESS
Starting this year, we will no longer be accepting personal checks. Cashier’s checks or debit/credit only. Click here: http://salmonhomecoming.org/participate/vendor-information/, to print out the application. You can mail it to the address on the application along with a cashier’s check or email it to [email protected] and call 206 999 0532 and give us your debit/credit information. Once payment is received, we will send you confirmation of payment email. Print this out and bring it as proof of payment to unload.

SPACE ASSIGNMENT AND SET UP
EVERYONE must have their proof of payment before being allowed to set your booth up. Have it available to show at the load/unload area. Someone will be available at 8:00 AM on Saturday to check you in and show you to your space. All booths must be set up and ready to go by 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Canoe families are invited to join us for Salmon Homecoming in Seattle on September 19, 2026, to share their cultural protocol,songs and dances, representing who they are and where they come from. As a thank you and gesture of appreciation, $1,000 will go to each of the first eight canoes to sign up.

2026 CALL OUT FOR ARTWORK
This is a call out for artwork submissions for the 34th year of the Salmon Homecoming Alliance Event happening on Pier 58 (formerly known as Waterfront Park) and 62 on the Seattle waterfront in September 2026.
Our focus is the Northwest Coastal Tribes and their relationship to the indigenous salmon and the salmon’s relation, as a keystone species, to Orcas, seals, otters, eagles, wolves and much more. This year the artist is also being asked to submit a theme to accompany the artwork. Your artwork, if selected, will be featured on all our t-shirts, on our website and other selected printed materials. All artwork submitted must be a minimum of 20 x 15 to be considered. Deadline is June 30th or sooner.
Please submit a clear picture of your piece to [email protected] .
Compensation
A $1000.00 stipend will be paid for an original (non-digital) signed and numbered 1/1 (one of one) piece. 
A $750.00 stipend will be paid for an original digital (one of a kind) signed and numbered 1/1 (one of one) piece on high quality paper

SAVE THE DATE! Mark your calendars for September 19th, 2026 for our 34th Salmon Homecoming Alliance event. We have expanded our presence on the Seattle Waterfront to include the newly rebuilt Waterfront Park (now known as Pier 58) and Pier 62 which means we will have more room for more vendors! Join us and learn more about our people who have lived on these shores, fished in these beautiful waters for time immemorial and still exist today!
