Congratulations to our Fair Superintendent, Connie, on her well earned retirement! 🥳
Make sure to congratulate Connie next time you see her around. 🎉
It's hard to put into words just how much Connie Trojanowski has meant to the the past 48 years. Dedication of such is incredibly rare and speaks volumes of her work ethic, loyalty, and pride of service for the agency and citizens of La Porte County. Nearly five decades of commitment is not just a career - it's a legacy.
While working behind the scenes, Connie carried out one of the most important responsibilities in the agency. Managing the agency's 17 million dollar budget and payroll is no small task, and yet she handled it with consistency, accuracy, and professionalism year after year. The employees were correctly paid, invoices were processed and paid accordingly, and the ledgers of budgeted line items were always up to date. While Connie's work was rarely in the spotlight, it was absolutely essential to everything the agency purchased and accomplished.
Connie has been a steady presence, a source of knowledge, and could always be counted on. She has witnessed the changing of nine Sheriffs and the coming and going of several generations of agency employees. Connie adapted to different leadership styles, evolving systems, new technology, and overcame countless challenges. Through it all though, she remained dependable and dedicated.
As Connie steps into retirement the agency hopes she finds great pride in everything she has contributed to and accomplished. Connie has earned every moment of relaxation, late mornings of doing horse chores, and every trip to Florida. Connie will be missed, but definitely deserves this next chapter.
Please join the men and women of the agency as we wish Connie endless happiness, good health, and many wonderful memories in the years ahead.
Thank you, Connie for 48 years of service and the lasting impact you have made on the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
