Well done to our two Primary competitors at this years Bear Creel Bash. 1st place was Pete Reddan - also his first ever contest. 2nd place was Allison Booher who was previously flying in a Pitts. Last minute the Pitts was unavailable so she flew with Matt Dunkel in his 300L. With only a handful of flights in the Extra prior to the contest, we think this was a pretty awesome effort. Well done to both Primary competitors.

What a squad - the pilots and volunteers from the 2026 Mark Fullerton Bear Creek Bash in La Grange, GA. We had beautiful weather for Day 1 on Friday. Looks like another spectacular day today, all the best to the pilots for their Unknown Sequences.

A fun evening of BBQ and drinks in the hangar last night. Also a fun way to giveaway raffle prizes. Two pair of glasses at $220 each, 6 bottles of , button up aresti shirts plus $1000 worth of Visa cards! Another important award is the Mark Fullerton Award presented to chapter members that really dedicate themselves to the sport. With a recent list almost too long to write out, Marty Flournoy was the recipient this year. His dedication to getting the college students to compete is second to none and even when there’s an obstacle at every turn, Marty continues to find ways. Lucky to have him in the Chapter.
