Lake Roberts says Hi!

The Troop had a great time at Horsebend for their first outpost. They threw horseshoes, and knives. They attempted to last a cow and were entertained by the camp staff

Had a bit of a storm this morning. The Ingersoll Scout Reservation staff did awesome keeping anyone safe

Due to predicted severe weather on Wednesday, June 17, we have made the decision to move Family Night and the OA Call-Out to Thursday night, June 18. Plan to arrive starting at 5 p.m. Dinner will be at the Dining Hall from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. Flags and the OA Call-Out will be at 7:15 p.m.

If you have already made a reservation for Family Night it will carry over to Thursday.

If you know of other families who were planning to come out for Family Night but had not registered, please help us out by passing this information on to them.

We encourage families who planned to visit their Scout(s) on Wednesday to send their support and encouragement. This will help your Scout overcome any homesickness or anxiety they may be experiencing. We can’t stress enough how important it is for your camper to stick with it for the full duration of camp. Assure your Scout that camp leadership and staff will be doing everything possible to keep them safe. Your support will result in the best experience for your Scout and the greatest growth.

Thank you for all you have done to support your Scout. Our goal with these changes is the safety of all participants at camp.

Last night Troop 8039 attended open stem night to participate in the egg drop challenge. They troop worked as a team and WON the challenge having their egg survive using the least material

Then they had a fire to celebrate
