We were honored to welcome Dr. Avisinia “Avi” Rodriguez as our guest speaker this week at the Rotary Club of Coachella Valley! 💛💙

As President of the Rotary Club of Indio Noon, Avi shared the incredible work her club is leading under the theme “Rooted in Indio,” with a strong focus on youth, education, and community service.

Her leadership highlights the true impact of Rotary in our region:
Supporting students through scholarships that directly change lives
Investing in academic programs like Math Field Day (May 2), creating opportunities for student growth
Collaboration across Rotary clubs on regional and global projects, including initiatives that support underserved communities

One exciting project on the horizon is Rotarians at Work Day on April 25, 2026, in partnership with the City of Indio. Volunteers will come together to transform a community wall with fresh paint and positive energy, beautifying the neighborhood and showcasing Rotary in action.

Avi’s message was clear: Rotary is about people coming together to serve, uplift, and create lasting impact. Both locally and beyond.

Thank you, Avi, for your leadership and for inspiring all of us to continue being !

This week at Rotary Club Coachella Valley, we were proud to welcome David Isen, founder of Desert Rodeo, as our guest speaker.

David shared his bold vision for Desert Rodeo, a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo and modern festival experience taking place April 24-26, 2026, alongside Stagecoach at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal. Desert Rodeo is reimagining what a rodeo can be: honoring cowboy culture while creating an all-ages, premium daytime experience that celebrates community, creativity, and economic opportunity in the Coachella Valley.

At Rotary, we are committed to elevating local entrepreneurs, strengthening the local economy, and creating meaningful connections between innovators and community partners. David embodies that spirit, bringing fresh ideas to the Valley while intentionally creating space for local vendors, farmers, food trucks, creators, and small business owners to be part of something big.

If you’re a local business looking for partnership opportunities or ways to collaborate during one of the Valley’s busiest weekends, this is a conversation worth having. Desert Rodeo represents not just an event, but a platform for collaboration and growth right here at home.
