September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and for our family, it is deeply personal.

When Ryan was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, our world changed. Through fear and uncertainty, people found ways to remind us that we weren’t alone.
That experience is at the heart of Ryan’s Case for Smiles. More than 3 million pillowcases later, we continue to bring smiles to hospitalized children while providing resources for parents, caregivers and siblings facing the emotional impact of serious illness.

This September, please stand with families facing childhood cancer.

These are all at Covina hills Where I live. Right now scheduled for lower clubhouse but may be moved depending on floor replacements at either location.

Volunteers welcome, no experience necessary. We are a national non profit group so kids can get signed off their sheets for volunteering. Give me a call if you are coming!

So glad it made him smile before surgery!

"As parents, seeing your child wheeled back for surgery is never easy, no matter how routine the procedure may be.

Before surgery, Edgar received one of your amazing pillowcases, and it immediately made his hospital bed feel a little less scary and a lot more like his. He smiled as soon as he saw it, and we loved watching him proudly pose with it before heading into surgery.

It’s incredible how something that seems so simple can bring so much comfort to a child, and to their parents. Your kindness reminded us that there are people we’ve never met who genuinely care about children going through difficult days.

Thank you to every volunteer who spends their time sewing these beautiful pillowcases and to everyone who supports Ryan’s Case for Smiles. Your generosity made a difference for our family today, and Edgar will treasure his pillowcase long after he’s recovered.

That smile says it all! Seeing children wrapped in comfort, color, and a little bit of joy is the true reason behind every stitch. Our pillowcases are a reminder that even during difficult days, kids are surrounded by care, kindness, and people cheering them on.
