Tonight was one of those nights that reminds us why this work matters.
Our EarlyAct 2026 Banquet brought together students, families, educators, and community leaders to celebrate something bigger than awards—service, leadership, and the impact our kids are already making right here in La Porte ISD.
Grateful for our guest speakers, Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia and LPISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson, for showing our students that leadership doesn’t start later in life—it starts now.
A huge thank you to Precinct2gether for going above and beyond—providing the space, dinner, and drinks and making this night possible in such a first-class way.
Thank you to the Rotary Club of La Porte for believing in this program and sponsoring all seven of our EarlyAct clubs. This kind of consistent support is what allows these students to grow and lead.
To our incredible Rotary volunteers Terri, Brenda, Frank, Susan, Rick, and Friend of Rotary Jenny - your presence, encouragement, and investment in these kids does not go unnoticed.
And to the teachers and administrators across our campuses—thank you for saying “yes” to one more thing, for supporting these clubs, and for helping shape students who are learning to serve others.
Tonight we celebrated campus achievements, recognized leaders, and honored our 4th-year EarlyAct students—but more than anything, we saw what’s possible when a community wraps around its kids.
The future is in good hands.
