We're deeply grateful for a grant that will grow our assistive technology program — tools and devices that help the adults we support communicate, connect, and participate more fully in daily life.
Assistive technology can look like a lot of things: a communication device that gives someone a voice in a conversation, software that supports workplace tasks, or tools that make everyday independence more possible. For many of the individuals we serve, the right technology isn't an extra — it's the bridge to greater communication, employment, and community connection.
This grant means more people we support will have access to that bridge. Thank you, Charles County Charitable Trust, for investing in what full lives look like.
