On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, when 2,977 lives were taken in 4 terrorist attacks by 19 hijackers, I have to stop for a moment and thank God for all of the first responders who rushed in - and remember all of the families that were affected that day. It's almost too much.
This happened before I was born, so I can't say I remember the day, but I know that what happened that day is the reason my Dad changed his career and went to work for the Dept of Defense. So, 9/11 is still affecting us and we will never forget the people and their families as we work to keep our country safe. I pray that God will bless us all.

🎶 Meet Jack Compton, a senior at La Plata High School and talented local musician!

Jack has performed with the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, Southern Maryland Concert Band and Port To***co Players, as well as at local venues and events honoring our veterans.

Jack is also an Eagle Scout candidate using his talent to raise critical funds for his upcoming community service project.

We are pleased to announce that this Friday, August 28 from 5–7 PM, Jack will perform with his clarinet in our dining room and accept donations to raise money for his service project.
