Lapine Community Kitchen & Pantry “THIS INSTITUTION IS AN EQUAL OPPURTUNITY PROVIDER”

A nonprofit organization providing assistance with food, clothing, hygiene needs to our community.

The Lapine Community Kitchen started operating in 1999 in partnership with the VFW Post 7242 & VVA Chapter 821 by serving free lunches three days a week by community volunteers. Over the years, we have grown by adding two additional programs to meet our community needs.
* Currently, the Kitchen offers nutritious lunches five days a week, Monday through Friday.
* The Food Pantry is open Tuesday & F

riday. Closed the 3rd Friday and open the following Saturday of every month.
* The Clothes Closet is open Tuesday & Friday

Monday
🥩 Steak & Cheese Quesadillas with Salad Bar
Because Mondays are hard, and cheese makes everything easier.

Tuesday
🌶️ Jambalaya
One pot, a hundred flavors, and at least three people asking for the recipe.

Wednesday
🥧 Sausage Quiche Smothered in Gravy
Doctors recommend moderation. Wednesday ignores doctors.

Thursday
🤷 Chef’s Surprise
Even the chef doesn’t know yet.

Friday
🍗 Marry Me Chicken with Penne Pasta
Formerly known as “Already Married Chicken” for those who took too long to decide.
