Music In The Pines 2026 is in the books!! La Pine Partners of Park & Rec and LPRD cant thank this community enough for the support it has given us!! Huge Thank You to Mid Oregon Credit Union City of LaPine Les Schwab Tire Centers Midstate Electric Cooperative HD Botanicals Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Oregon and all the community businesses and patrons that help support this event. We believe community is what ultimately sets us apart and we will continually strive to raise the bar every summer!! Help bring a Splash Pad to La Pine, right here at Heritage Park. Imagine a place where kids can laugh- play, and cool off on hot summer days, a place for families to gather and for generations of memories to be made. That's what the La Pine Community Splash Pad is all about. We're working hard to grow our 100,000 dollar capital campaign, and thanks to our generous supporters, we've already raised $14,005 dollars. That's 14 percent of our goal, with $85,995 dollars still to go. Because every drop counts, every donation brings us one step closer to breaking ground at Heritage Park. We are still looking for more feedback on the Rosland Campground Project. Deadline is September 10th to give us your thoughts. Survey takes 10 minutes and will help the District with a community driven path forward. Thank you!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of summer. The District is just trying to let everyone know the Automatic Gates at Finley Butte Sports Complex will go live this week at some point. The parks summer hours will be 6am to 10pm April 1st through October 31st. Winter hours will be 6am to 7pm November 1st through March 31st. The gates will automatically open and close at these times. Please be aware and help us spread the word. The man gates will also lock at these times. Please take the time to read the park signs as to prevent you and your vehicle from having to call the non emergency number to be let out after park hours. Also please follow the signage as to entering and exiting the parking lot off Walling Lane. The far entrance is the Entrance only and the Exit near the pickleball courts is Exit only as with the gates room is limited. Also the District has already crack sealed the parking lot with a new seal coat and striping coming before the end of September. Our next improvement by next spring will be new doors and automatic timed locks for the bathrooms. They will also have push buttons for ADA access.
