The fact the post below has 13 thousand likes and was reposted by the owner of this platform is evidence that this sentiment is very real and felt by tens of millions of conservatives, including some of the most powerful and influential in the world. States like Oregon holding rural conservatives captive who've voted to peacefully separate feeds it. As a country, it's imperative that we start enacting political solutions that instead reverse it. A good start would be letting E OR join Idaho.

The controlling nature of the people holding Eastern Oregon captive against their wishes is the same one that's driving universal health care in Oregon. Portland could do Portland-wide UHC, but they won't, because they're intent on forcing everybody in the state to participate, just like they're intent on forcing us to stay associated with them.

In the last two long legislative sessions Eastern Oregon reps have introduced 3 different bills to allow our communities to separate and join Idaho. All 3 died without a hearing or workgroup. Yet illegals got 8 bills passed because they are part of Gov. Kotek's "community" that needs protected.

The number one thing we hear from people who oppose us is "it will never happen", but what they really mean is that Democrats in Salem will never let us go. Massachusetts let Maine go to become it's own state despite being part of MA for 150 years. The template and historical precedent is there, it's the power-obsessed politicians of today's left stopping Eastern Oregon from joining Idaho.

Oregon Democrats understand that if they let people choose, they will choose to exit their failing education system and state, just like E OR has already done. Holding families and students captive is par for the course for the leftists in charge of our state.

Illinois, Oregon, California, Washington, Virginia, Maryland, New Mexico, etc. There are grassroots efforts in almost every blue state of people trying to peacefully separate from their urban neighbors. The country desperately needs a conversation about moving state borders.
