🌱🐄 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🐄🌱

Mrs. Landers took a group of our 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students to the Greenland & Discovery Conference tonight at Black Hawk College – East Campus!

This field trip was designed specifically for our first-year FFA members, giving them an opportunity to learn, explore new opportunities, and connect with other young agriculture students. 💚💛

We’re proud of our students for getting involved in FFA and taking advantage of opportunities to grow their knowledge and experiences!

🐄 Congratulations to our FFA members on a great showing at Section 2 FFA Show Day at the Lee County Fairgrounds!

We’re proud of all of our students who represented our school so well:

🏆 Zane had an outstanding day, earning:

* Champion Showmanship
* Reserved Champion Heifer

👏 Braden did a great job in the show ring, representing our FFA chapter with pride.

🤝 Kade spent the day helping with showing and judging, demonstrating the teamwork and dedication that make our chapter successful.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Petting Zoo has been rescheduled. We will now be open on Sunday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday for some fun!

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve adjusted the petting zoo hours!

The petting zoo will now begin at 4:00 PM. Our end time will depend on the weather and will be either 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM.

We’ll keep everyone updated throughout the day. We can’t wait to see you there!

🐐 Exciting news! We’re only 4 days away from our big trip to the petting zoo! We can’t wait to meet everyone, get lots of pets and scratches, and show off our goofy personalities. The countdown is on—T-minus 4 days until all the fun begins! See you soon! 🐐❤️

Come out and visit our FFA petting zoo! We’re excited to give the community a fun chance to meet and interact with a variety of animals while learning more about agriculture and our chapter. Bring your friends and family for a afternoon full of fun, animals, and great memories — we can’t wait to see everyone there!

Today was a fun day for the kids. As a school, we achieved fourth place out of seven teams. I am proud of these students for trying out these CDEs.

Some 6th graders immersed themselves in FFA today, participating in public speaking CDE's consisting of job interviews, group presentations, and trivia.
