🎭 Some Legends Never Die...

A century after Lon Chaney first brought the Phantom to life on the silver screen, his haunting performance continues to captivate audiences.

Last week, the La Mirada Symphony brought *The Phantom of the Opera* (1925) back to the big screen, accompanied by the thrilling sounds of a live orchestra.

The masks may be gone, the curtain may have fallen, but the music and memories live on.

From all of us at the La Mirada Symphony, we wish you a wonderfully spooky, safe, and music-filled Halloween! 🎃👻

Happy Halloween!

🎶 Great music belongs to everyone.

🎭 **A Special Guest at The Phantom of the Opera!**

We were honored to welcome Jaclynn Chaney, great-great-granddaughter of legendary actor Lon Chaney, to the La Mirada Symphony's October 22 presentation of *The Phantom of the Opera* (1925)!

Lon Chaney's unforgettable portrayal of the Phantom remains one of the most iconic performances in silent film history, making Jaclynn's presence especially meaningful as we celebrated this cinematic classic with a live orchestra.

Jaclynn also graciously helped us select the winners of our opportunity drawing, adding a special touch to an already memorable evening!

A heartfelt thank you to Jaclynn for joining us and to everyone who helped make the evening such a success!
