We are distributing flyers for our annual Scouting for Food service project. We will be asking families in the Gardenhill neighborhood to donate non-perishable food items for those in need. Last year, we gave the food to the Interfaith Food Center in Santa Fe Springs. Our plan is to do the same again this year. Participating in this event will count towards any service hours that are needed for adventures.

We will be meeting Sunday, November 2nd, at Gardenhill Park Amphitheater at 3 pm to walk the neighborhood and pass out flyers. Sunday, November 16, at 3 pm, we will walk the same streets and pick up food that has been donated.

Please RSVP on BAND so we know how many fliers, maps, and groups to make.

Hello Pack 919,

Fall camp is coming up from November 7th to November 9th, 2025, at Cabrillo Youth Aquatics Center in San Pedro. Planned activities include:

- Camping
- Swimming*
- Kayaking / Canoeing / Rowing*
- Den time
- Campfire

Every person attending the camp will need a medical AB form filled out with the front and back of their insurance card attached, printed, and brought to camp. The PDF is editable and is attached to this email.

The signup deadline is Sunday, November 1st, at 5:00 PM so do not delay.

Hello Pack 919,

Come join the Fall Festival put on by East Whittier United Methodist Church for the community. Enjoy free hot dogs, nachos, snow cones, popcorn, and drinks! Play fun games and crafts! Participate in the trunk or treat. There will also be pumpkins for sale. We need volunteers to spend 30 minutes helping out at a game or craft table between 3-6 pm. Sign up at the den meeting tonight. Everyone is coming together to host this fun event for the community, put on by the church in collaboration with Cub Scouts, BSA Troops, and Girl Scouts.

Trask Scout Reservation is hosting a Cub Scout Range and Targets Adventure Day on Saturday October 4, 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm. The cost is $50 per scout and adults may attend for free.
