Mt Helix Park In 1925, Mt. Helix Park, was built in honor of a mother, for the families of the community to enjoy.

A private, nonprofit, nature preserve located at 1400ft with an easy hiking trail, native habitat, large amphitheater, 35 ft cross, & breathtaking views.

Join us as we celebrate our amazing Mt. Helix Park Volunteers! 💞

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of the Park, and we invite you and your family to enjoy an evening of food, refreshments, and music as a thank you for all that you do! Children and dogs are welcome.

Parking information and password will be emailed out closer to the date. For volunteers who have generously contributed 20 or more hours over the past year.

This photo was taken sometime between 1925–1935, looking down from the top of the amphitheater toward the orchestra pit (still just dirt at the time) and the stage.

Looking past the stage you can see long before the neighborhoods and development we know today. The area to the left would become El Cajon, while the land to the right would become La Mesa and Rancho San Diego.
