We want to share with you about our friend Sammy. He has been going through a lot of challenges with personal relationships and discouragement for the past couple of months.

3 weeks ago, he decided to hang around for lunch club and was met with some compassion. In just a couple of short conversations with him, he has realized that not only does our Young Life team care about him, but most importantly God sees him and knows him. He has expressed a desire to go to camp with us this summer, and we will do all we can to get him there.

Please know that none of what we have the privilege of witnessing in Young Life San Diego Metro can happen without your love and support. Our appreciation for how we are all in this ministry together continues to grow and grow.

The scripture from Philippians 2:2 where the apostle Paul describes his desire for all of the believers to be together in the sharing and living out of the gospel, encourages us to not only thank you for your love but continue to welcome you in. This community is amazing!

Thank you to all the Pastors and Clergy members of San Diego that came to our Pastor Appreciation Brunch!

Please continue to Pray for these pastors to send laborers and love towards our mission and partner with us to help us reach more kids, and go to more schools, and to have more spaces to meet, and funding for pizza and camp, and to help us start capernaum, and give us access to a gym for contact work and help us hire part time staff! Pray we will be unified!

The Women's Giving Circle is an opportunity for women of faith in San Diego to take an active role in supporting Young Life across the Metro region.

This year, we'll be celebrating Valentine's day style while hearing from 3 proposals on Young Life initiatives that need funding. Together our circle will gift $5,000+ to the winner!

What an amazing turnout for our Committee Gathering at Puesto on Friday, over 75 attendees! We are so grateful for the support of our community.

The purpose of a committee is to actively support the ministry of Young Life through fundraising, securing resources, encourage staff and volunteers, and believing that God can do BIG things in our cities for our youth. Committee members protect the integrity of the ministry, ensure fiscal responsibility, and pray for the spiritual strength of the leadership. We are so grateful for our volunteer committee members!
