Last month, during his first visit to Challenge Center, Justin walked for the FIRST TIME since the spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed in December. Since then, Justin has been working very hard with his Challenge Center PTs to improve his trunk and lower body strength and coordination. And now, just a few weeks later, Justin is able to walk with less assistance and noticeable improvements in the control and fluidity of his walking. Way to go Justin! We are all so excited to see what comes next for you. 👏 👏 👏

Felicidades Ana! Ana will be moving back to Spain, and taking well deserved confidence and independence with her! On her final day with us, Ana shaved 15 seconds off of her 10 meter walk test (compared to her first), and she did it completely independently: no cane in sight! David is celebrating progress, change, and good things to come with a bounce on the trampoline during his last (for a while) PT session at Challenge Center!
For those who do not know, David suffered a major stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side. He has worked tirelessly to re-learn everything; from sitting up, to putting on his own shoes, to walking... and now, bouncing :)
We are very proud of you David, and are so happy for the awesome opportunity before you. You will be missed for now, but we wish you a fantastic summer of happiness, sunshine, and continued growth. See you soon friend! 👋
