Time for a new installment in our "heroes of the horse world" series.

Jenny and Robert Sloan work with various rescues to bring horses to their Oklahoma ranch. From there, they train the horses for new careers or to become wild horses again. They are the folks responsible for helping Snickers and Rollo for so many years. Because of Jennie and Robert and Rewilding america Now, Snickers and Rollo are living in paradise in Northern Idaho.

Thank you to the kind friends who've contributed to our fundraiser for Hope. She's the little mare who went through a lot, but is now living a wonderful life at Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue. Hope's fundraiser continues until October 15th, so there's still time to contribute.. https://www.nimchukequinefoundation.org/donate

Spotlight on a hero of the horse world ...the amazing Karen Thaller, the founder of Risen From the Ashes. Here she is pictured with her husband Anthony, her daughter Emmalee and the late, great Ben. Ben was a sheriff posse horse who unfortunately passed last year. Ben was a community and rescue favorite. Risen From the Ashes takes on some of the most challenging rescues and is able to give these lucky animals a wonderful new life. We will be doing a dinner for the Mustangs soon to raise funds for this and all our featured rescues ❤️ 🐴
