We showed up for our seniors and it mattered.

The Ombudsman team had the privilege of participating in the Senior Resource Fair at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, connecting with older adults, families, and caregivers in our community.

These events are more than just tables and brochures.
They’re opportunities to educate, advocate, and empower, making sure seniors know their rights and that families know they’re not alone in navigating long-term care decisions.

We had meaningful conversations, answered important questions, and helped bring awareness to the role of the Ombudsman program in protecting the dignity and well-being of residents in long-term care.

This is the work. This is the mission.

A leaked draft of the FY26 Health and Human Services budget revealed plans to eliminate several critical programs that support older adults and individuals with disabilities. These proposed cuts include the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.
