Route update for the Tour de Santa Fe Trail! 🚴‍♀️🕷️

We have made a slight update to this year’s ride route to include Rest Stop #2 at Cottonwood Ridge Assisted Living in Rocky Ford.

The 2nd Annual Tour de Santa Fe Trail Bike Ride will still be a 50-mile flat course, beginning at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center and finishing in downtown La Junta during the Visit La Junta Tarantula Festival.

This year’s planned rest stops include:

Rest Stop #1: Sierra Vista Overlook, CO Hwy 71
Rest Stop #2: Cottonwood Ridge Assisted Living, 1122 S 12th St, Rocky Ford, CO 81067
Rest Stop #3: Intersection of CO Hwy 266 and CO Hwy 109

We are excited to give riders a safe, supported, and memorable Arkansas Valley ride experience while raising funds for high-quality healthcare close to home.

We already have nearly 30 riders already registered for the 2nd Annual Tour De Santa Fe Trail Bike Ride, and we are looking for even more cyclists to join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

This 50-mile flat course begins at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center and finishes in downtown La Junta during the Visit La Junta Tarantula Festival, giving riders a unique Arkansas Valley experience while supporting high-quality healthcare close to home.

Last year’s ride welcomed more than 70 riders from across the United States and helped raise nearly $40,000 to support local healthcare. This year, we are ready to keep growing!

Ride for the challenge. Ride for the cause. Ride for the community. And maybe, ride for a tarantula sighting along the way. 🕷️
