Hello everyone! We ask for your support in this year's St. Jude Walk/Run. Donations will fund the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which will allow them to continue their mission. The current survival rate for childhood cancer is 80%, but St. Jude wants to make sure that no child dies from cancer. St. Jude freely shares their discoveries and families never receive a bill. Their mission inspires us. Please donate to our team LTA- Eta Gamma Chapter so we can join the fight against childhood cancer.

In September, supporters in communities across the country will participate in the St. Jude Walk/Run. This exciting, family-friendly event helps raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Please help! Omar was a founding brother for UCSD!
After the fight for his life against cancer for a year and a half, Omar Melgoza-Cortes died and the world lost an incredible person. No words can describe the tragedy that Omar and his family had to experience from seeing his mother pass away from cancer, being diagnosed with cancer 4 months after losing his mom, enduring cancer for a year and a half, and his untimely death.
Please join us in supporting Omar’s family in the financial burden by raising funds to pay for the funeral, memorial, and remaining costs. Anything you can do to help them offset the cost during this hardship is greatly appreciated. We urge you and make this call to action to donate as much as you possibly can, to share this with your online social and professional network, at work, at school, with your family to reach our goal and support Omar’s family.

We ask you to donate as much as you can or at least 25 dollars to alleviate the financial burden of his family during this hardship.

Omar Melgoza-Cortes, 26 years old, died on June 3, 2019 at Mission Hospice.
