Survivorship Care Studies

Survivorship Care Studies 1 in 47 young women will develop cancer by age 40. Our goal is to learn more about the health issues caused by cancer treatment through innovative studies.

More and more young girls and women are surviving cancer and looking toward the future. Cancer treatment today can affect the future of young survivors who face many women’s health issues ranging from fertility concerns to early menopause. Right now there is limited information to help young survivors, their families and their healthcare providers navigate these complex issues. Our research group

at UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center has innovative studies to help young cancer survivors improve their health and the quality of survivorship care.
