t’s like to pull into the entrance road at Camp and roll down your windows and smell the redwood forest, to wake up to the chatter of children anticipating a new experience, and to sit around a campfire and laugh and sing with the best friends you’ll ever have. The alumni group has been established to help reunite long lost camp friends to keep these memories alive.

For any alumni in the area, here’s an upcoming volunteer opportunity at Big Basin SP 🌲

Happy holidays!

Looking to volunteer in the redwoods? There's still time to register for this satisfying, hands-on event! Join us in partnership with Big Basin Redwoods State Park to create brush piles in the Redwood Grove of Big Basin. Your work will support the park in managing the fuel load and preparing for a prescription burn during the next rain season.

🌲 Volunteers will collaborate with other Sempervirens Fund volunteers, Big Basin Redwood State Park staff, and their volunteers. All tools and supplies will be provided by Big Basin Redwoods State Park.
