🍁🍁🍂HAPPY FALL FROM SOUTHLAND SHELTIE RESCUE🍁🍁🍂

10/03/2026

Welcome …. Willow

Willow recently came to sheltie rescue as an owner turn in from a dementia home. Willow is about seven years old and a very sweet, friendly dog. Due to her environment, she’ll need some patience to learn how to become a normal dog. She’s overweight and will need to lose weight slowly. Three weeks ago Willow had surgery on her back leg to repair a torn ACL muscle. The surgery went very well and she’s recovering nicely. Her recovery will take at least two months and losing the weight will definitely make a difference in her life. We will continue with updates on Willow

If anyone would like to donate to Willow’s ongoing recovery, please visit our website (http://southlandsheltierescueinc.com). We appreciate your support.

Hi everyone, one of our rescue team, Linda Dalziel, is heading a fund raiser right now that starts Sept 21-27 called Pet Portrait Extravaganza. It's a pet portrait event. They give a portion of the proceeds to a rescue every year. We’re asking that you go to their page (Pet Portrait Extravaganza) and put Southland Sheltie Rescue in the comment section. The more people that write the rescue name, the more times they’ll put our name in the hat. At the end of the fund raiser, they’ll pull a name from the hat. We can really use your help for us to win!

Thank you in advance!!
