Father’s Day…
Last month, we celebrated our moms. Now, it’s our dads turn. It seems like the intensity and passion with which we celebrated last month is not the same this month. Most of us establish a very special and personal relationship with our moms, very different than the one we establish with our dads. Hence, the difference.
Still, we are alive because of both of them. So, let us honor our dads in our own special way. If you are lucky and your dad is still alive, what a great blessing and opportunity you have to reach out to him. Go visit him, give him a call, send him a message, reach him through Zoom, make him feel very special on this Father’s Day.
If he is already gone, pray for him, offer a Mass, do an act of kindness in his memory, take flowers to his burial place, make a donation to his favorite charity. In some cases, if there is need for forgiveness, this is the time to do it.
