One more shout out to all our sponsors who were able to attend the MS150 finale in College Station, and those who were unable to attend.
Sponsorship donations made THE WORLD of difference to our cycling team’s ability to succeed. Being our first year, we learned a lot but everything we accomplished on our inaugural event was made possible by you!

This is the first year the Stand Up and Yell team will ride the Texas MS 150 and we are inviting our first ever sponsors to join us on our 198 mile journey!

Our team rides for every person navigating life with Multiple Sclerosis, including myself. We ride for the ones searching for answers, fighting to be heard, and carrying the weight of the unknown. We ride because hope matters and community matters even more.

Sponsorship support helps us cover important needs for our new team.
Here are a few things your donation helps make possible for our riders this year
• Team jerseys and visibility materials
• Operational needs for overnight stay for day one and at the finish line - team tent, tables, chairs, etc.
• Hydration and nutrition supplies during the ride
• Registration costs for riders who need assistance

If you own a business, or know someone who might want to be one of the first to support this mission, we would be grateful to connect.

Becoming a sponsor does more than place a logo on a jersey. It becomes part of the story we are building. A story about standing together, yelling for hope, and showing people living with chronic illness that they are not alone.

Please reach out for our sponsor information.
And if this message speaks to you, sharing it helps more than you know!

MS150 year one! After fighting through the sadness, anger and fear of my MS diagnosis I knew I had a choice. I could stay in that vicious cycle or I could change my perspective.

It’s always been painfully obvious to me that MS could one day take my ability to walk, to see and maybe even to speak. MS has the ability to completely take control of my body - but that is not my reality in this moment.

Once I realized and accepted that, I knew that I have to capitalize on controlling my body every day that I can. It was then that I decided that maybe if MS can’t catch me, it can’t take me, so I started peddling, running and even swimming (definitely better on land than in water).

I’ll keep moving until I can’t and even then, I’ll still find a way.

If I can’t stand one day, I know I have an amazing circle that will stand for me.

If I can’t yell one day, I know I have an amazing circle that will yell at the top of their lungs for me.

Welcome to Stand Up and Yell.
This foundation grew from my lived experiences, including my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2022, and from the many stories I have heard from family, friends and strangers who are living with chronic illness.

Stand Up and Yell exists to lift people up and help them stand, speak and be heard.

Our first milestone is launching our inaugural Bike MS: Texas MS 150 team as we begin this mission with purpose and community.

More about our vision, our riders and how you can join us is coming soon! Until then, enjoy these photos of my first MS Walk for a Cure event. Having a community to surround you during a journey like this is so important and I’m so lucky!
