The LeaderShop

The LeaderShop is a nonprofit that helps youth build leadership skills through volunteerism.

Since 1978, The LeaderShop has been providing a safe and welcoming environment for elementary through high
school aged youth. Programs offered range from mentoring and leadership to performance groups, outreach/volunteer services and special community-based events. Students are encouraged to express themselves by getting involved in some – or even all of the diverse programs which are designed to

give youth the tools, confidence and passion to want to make a difference in their community. Involvement in The LeaderShop changes lives – for the participants and residents of the neighborhoods served. The LeaderShop takes a preventative position in helping today’s youth grow into productive leaders in their communities.

The LeaderShop is Opening Our Doors to Local Organizations!
We’re excited to offer donated supplies to organizations in need. Whether you’re looking for office essentials, educational resources, or supplies for programming, we have plenty to share!
What’s available:�✅ Desks�✅ Bookshelves�✅ Office Supplies�✅ Games�✅ Cleaning Supplies
How it works:�All we need is an inventory of the items you receive and a copy of your organization’s tax ID.
When can you drop by?�We’ll be open for drop-ins from 10 AM - 2 PM, Monday through Wednesday next week.�Need a different time? Contact Executive Director Paul Kerchberger at [email protected] to schedule.
We can’t wait to support our community—come by and see how we can help!

Dear Leadershop Community,
As we approach the end of this year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. For the past 40 years, Leadershop has been a place of growth, connection, and inspiration, and it has truly been a privilege to serve such a vibrant community.
We want to inform you that, effective December 12, we will be suspending our programs. This decision was not made lightly, but it reflects our commitment to ensuring that we can continue to offer you the best possible experiences in the future.
Thank you for being a part of our journey over the years. Your participation, support, and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind Leadershop. We are hopeful that we will have the opportunity to serve you again soon, and we look forward to staying connected during this transition.

We’re excited to announce that our High School Leadership Program is hosting a food drive for the local pantry at St. Cletus! We’re collecting all types of food (both perishable and non-perishable) as well as household supplies.

What an incredible field trip! Our journey to the National Mexican Art Museum was filled with vibrant colors, rich traditions, and unforgettable moments. From the breathtaking Día de los Mu***os altars to the calaveras, paintings, and sculptures, we truly immersed ourselves in the culture. It was a day of creativity, connection, and laughter that we’ll cherish forever! 🎉🎨
