The Community Keyholder Awards, presented by Fayette Savings Bank, ssb, were created to celebrate the leaders, nonprofits, donors, and changemakers helping strengthen our communities through service, generosity, collaboration, and vision.

From nonprofit leaders and volunteers to local businesses and community advocates, these awards honor the people creating lasting impact across the Greater Fayette region.

Each year, the Greater Fayette Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations across our service area to apply for funding that helps strengthen rural communities and expand access to opportunity.

The 2026 Community Impact Grant Cycle is open now through June 30, 2026.

Through this grant cycle, eligible nonprofits may apply for support from:
- Red Door Fund for Mental Health
- Green Door Fund for Workforce Development & Education
- Rural Community Health Fund

If your organization is helping build a stronger, healthier, and more connected rural South Central Texas, we encourage you to apply before the June 30 deadline.

Our rural nonprofits are the heart of our communities- serving families, supporting youth, preserving the arts, responding to crises, strengthening mental health, caring for seniors, and so much more.

If your organization is working to strengthen rural South Central Texas through mental health support, workforce development, education, or community health initiatives, we encourage you to join us.

These workshops are designed to help applicants better understand the grant process, funding priorities, and how to submit a strong application.
