Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Juneteenth with your family?

Come join us on June 19th for a Juneteenth Celebration & Remembrance at The Corral, located at Lyons Township High School South Campus.

This event is designed for families, youth, elders, alumni, neighbors, and community members. We will have history-based stations, food, music, culture, and space for people to gather, learn, reflect, and celebrate together.

Juneteenth is a powerful opportunity to teach the next generation about freedom, resilience, Black American history, and community responsibility.

Community work is strongest when we do it together.

Laced Up Athletics and ChaseYouth, NFP are proud to host this year’s Juneteenth Celebration & Remembrance, and we are grateful for the support of the CommUNITY Diversity Group of La Grange, IL.

Their support helps strengthen the purpose of this event: to bring people together around history, culture, remembrance, education, and community connection.

Juneteenth is about freedom, but it is also about responsibility. The responsibility to remember, to teach, to build, and to keep creating spaces where our community can grow stronger together.
