Today, June 15th, is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. We believe every older adult in our community deserves to live with dignity, respect, and safety.

Elder abuse can take many forms (including, but not limited to): physical, emotional, financial or neglect) and it often goes unseen. You can make a difference by knowing the signs and speaking up.

If you suspect an older adult is being abused, neglected, or exploited, help is available:

We have 2 Caregiver events this Friday afternoon for our community!

Are you a caregiver for an older adult and seeking more resources? Join us in Norridge for our Caregiver Support Group where you can learn more tips and information from peers. These support groups are facilitated by a qualified Caregiver Specialist.

If you are a caregiver caring for an older adult with memory loss, join us in La Grange for our Memory Café! This month we will have ring toss, corn hole, and other fun games. Memory Café is a free event designed to serve as a fun and welcoming space for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers.

Are you a caregiver for someone experiencing memory loss?
Check out our Memory Café tomorrow in Norridge!

This event is an informal, stigma free gathering for those with concerns about their memory (regardless of a dementia diagnosis) and their caregivers.

You do not need to be a resident of Central Baptist Village to attend!
