Welcome to the 108’s Coach!
Coach Andy Bair, a native of Manchester, Maryland, brings elite playing experience and a passion for developing young athletes to the 14U level. His baseball journey is built on hard work, dedication, and a lifelong commitment to the game.
In 1994, Andy proudly represented the United States as a member of the USA Baseball Team. He was also recognized as the Baltimore Sun High School Player of the Year in both 1994 and 1995, establishing himself as one of the top high school players in the region. After graduation, Andy signed a professional baseball contract with the Florida Marlins organization in 1995, choosing to begin his professional career instead of attending the University of Miami, where he had committed to play for the Hurricanes.
Today, Coach Bair is committed to sharing the knowledge and experiences gained throughout his baseball career with the next generation of players. He emphasizes strong fundamentals, discipline, accountability, teamwork, and mental toughness while creating a competitive and positive environment where every player has the opportunity to grow.
Coach Bair believes that baseball is about much more than winning games. His goal is to help young athletes develop confidence, character, leadership, and a strong work ethic that will benefit them both on the field and in life. He is honored to help guide and mentor the next generation of baseball players while fostering a love and respect for the game.
