Birddog Glass 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday March 30th at 9am! In addition to 3 dozen eggs hidden in and around Lagrande Oregon, there will be 3 “special” eggs redeemable for a glass paperweight workshop! Clues for the hunt will drop at 9am Saturday morning. If you’d like guaranteed success for your youngster or loved one, we have plenty of eggs for purchase in the BDG gallery priced at $20-$50 each.

Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) is accepting applications for its BIPOC Artist Fund!

Artists seeking to elevate their artistic practice and aspirations are encouraged to apply. The deadline is Sunday, March 31!

Co-created with WESTAF's Leaders of Color Network, the fund offers resources to BIPOC artists who reside and create in the 16 states and jurisdiction within the WESTAF region, including Oregon.

Okaidja Afroso LIVE in concert!
Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Born into a family of musicians and storytellers in the village of Kokrobite, he began his career as a dancer with the acclaimed Ghana Dance Ensemble. Touring internationally, Okaidja was enabled to expand his own artistic influences, becoming a praiseworthy multi-instrumentalist and arranger.

Afroso is a dynamic vocalist, a gifted multi-instrumentalist, and an exultant dancer. He cites Paul Simon, Bobby McFerrin, Johnny Cash, Sting, and Lokua Kanza as his greatest musical inspirations. His personal story is woven through his work and allows him to connect with audiences in a powerful way.
