What an incredible turn out for the ribbon cutting at the park!
So many excited kids rushed the ribbon and packed the playground!

Big update!
Turf has been getting installed last Friday and today by some incredible installers at Carpet One!
In addition to their generous cash donation at the beginning of this project, they have had volunteers there making the last push before it's open to the public (hopefully next week!!!)
The playground is so close. If you haven't seen it in person, go drive by. And be watching for updates on the ribbon cutting and public opening.

The playground is getting very close! Concrete was poured today, ground material up next, then open to the public (targeting for mid June).

Big Thank You to the following today:

-RD MAC donated half the concrete
-RMC Quality Construction brought a crew on site to help pour concrete
-CNG Concrete Pumping donated the pumper truck

This project has been a wonderful partnership of so many community members and businesses!

The playground is getting close and we need your help! If you're able to handle basic tools and take guidance, your help is needed!
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday THIS week, from 7:30 AM to about 4:00 PM. Even if you only have a few hours!

We have had an amazing week of volunteers at the playground and great progress had been made!
Big shout out to One Call Restoration and crew, and J&N Custom Renovations and crew for being on site today.
Next week, May 19 through 23, we are in need of more volunteers. The harder parts are complete, now volunteers are needed that know how to use drills and place things together!
