🩷UPDATE ON SERA🩷

Sera had a BIG day yesterday! She was spayed, microchipped, and went to her new foster home in Big Bear! Her LA foster was sad to see her go, but we are SO grateful to Cristi for everything she has done for Sera and BelLA’s!!

Sera is settling in seamlessly with her new foster family. She checked out the yard, which is FULLY FENCED IN and so large! It is perfect for Sera who loves to be outdoors. The video honestly made us get teary eyed because Sera truly deserves to live at a home like this.
The rescue is supporting Sera along her journey and she is still ours until she is officially adopted! Which, she is available for!

🌻💜$10 TUESDAY💜🌻 with BelLA’s House Of Blues

Featuring Misty and Sera; our 2 girls who were abandoned by their people before rescued.
Misty was left outside a shelter right before closing time…she was in critical condition with a dead puppy stuck halfway inside her. 💔
The Spay(CE) Project helped her before we came along and we are so grateful they saved her life.
Misty does have ear and skin infections she continues to battle. She is currently being treated and we have added some things to boost her immune system. 💛

Sera was left at an empty house when her person moved out, leaving her behind. After escaping a hoarder then this! But she is now on her way to a wonderful foster family in Big Bear, post spay surgery. We are making sure she has a smooth recovery and settles in well with everything she needs! 🩶

We would be SO grateful if you could help us with all of these expenses we are currently funding. As a new small rescue, we are trying to build up our funds so we can help more dogs like Misty and Sera!! 🐾

💙 A MESSAGE FROM BELLA'S HOUSE OF BLUES FOUNDER 💙

To be completely honest, my world has pretty much stopped.

Our family dog, Pasha, has been missing since Wednesday, last sighting Thursday evening, and every spare moment has been spent searching, making flyers, reviewing leads, walking miles, talking to people, and hoping for a sighting that hasn't come.

We are exhausted.

We are heartbroken.

And terrified.

But while my personal world has come to a standstill, the rescue dogs still need us.

They don't know that our hearts are breaking.

They don't know that we're desperately searching for one of our own.

They just know they need us too.

Tomorrow, Sera's boarding bill will be due with her amazing temporary foster who stepped up when she needed somewhere safe to land. Sera also has her spay appointment and will finally be heading to her committed foster home in Big Bear — a huge step toward the future she deserves.

We still need help covering:
🐾 Sera's boarding
🐾 Her transport costs to Big Bear
🐾 Her ongoing care

As much as I wish I could put everything else on hold until Pasha is home, I can't.

The dogs still need food.
The medical appointments still happen.
The boarding invoices still come due.
The transports still have to be arranged.

If you are able to help Sera while we continue searching for Pasha, we would be incredibly grateful.
Her boarding will be $350 and her transport will be $160. Help with those is the priority.

As some of you know, our rescue founder attempted to visit Southern California this week and the day she flew out, her dogs got out of the yard due to the sitter accidentally leaving the gate open.
Unfortunately, Pasha got spooked and ran off. Charlene and Eric immediately got back on the next flight home. There have been sightings of her not far from home but no luck catching her yet.

Yes, we have rescue dog vet bills that need to be paid, and we could very much use your help there…but this Friday is for Pasha! She was rescued from a high k*ll shelter along with her siblings, including her sister Xena, coming up on 2 years. They BOTH survived parvo as tiny puppies, all because of Charlene and Eric!
Every dollar makes a difference.

🌻 Meet Anahi — One of BelLA’s House Of Blues' Very First Dogs 🌻

When BelLA’s House Of Blues officially began, there were two special dogs who made the journey with us from House Hippo Rescue. Anahi is one of them. ❤️
Many of you may remember Anahi as the young mama who was pulled from the shelter just in time, only for us to discover she was pregnant shortly after. She went on to raise four beautiful puppies, and we're thrilled to say that every single one of them has found a loving forever home.

Now it's finally Anahi's turn.
At almost 2 years old and 37 pounds, Anahi is the perfect size and the perfect mix of playful and laid-back.
She is:
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Up to date on vaccinations
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Walks beautifully on a leash
🐾 Crate trained, though she doesn't need one
🐾 Not destructive in the home
🐾 Calm, sweet, and affectionate
🐾 Happy with multiple dogs or as your one-and-only sidekick
Anahi is the kind of dog who doesn't demand attention—she simply steals your heart. She loves being near her people, enjoys a little playtime, and is equally happy curling up for a nap afterward. She has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to live with.
Currently fostered in San Bernardino County, California, Anahi is available for approved homes and transport may be available for the right family.
After spending the last year making sure her puppies had everything they needed, we're hoping someone will finally choose her.

Because mama dogs deserve happy endings too. ❤️

Misty has her 2 week follow-up at Southpaw Vet Friday morning. Hopefully her ears and skin have healed up nicely. According to Misty’s foster, she has been a bit sassier than before!! 🤣
