Tonya discussed how small businesses can become a part of the community through different approaches, including supporting local nonprofits and other small businesses.

Day of Service! For the second year, the Campbell County Rotary Club has partnered with ADFAC's school supply program! Rotarians Cyndi Russell, Regina Blankenship, Mike Childress, Debbie Petree, Tracie Davis and Keisha Howard packed school supplies into backpacks which will be distributed to students at Valley View Elementary. It was a fun project for us.

Great meeting this afternoon!

Our Rotary Club had a visit from Rotary scholarship recipient Shakira Goins, and the Rotary Club officially welcomed new members- Crystal Hicks and Charlotte McCoy, sponsored by Rotarians Cyndi Russell and Brandon Johnson.

Thank you to our guest speaker, Annie Cacheiro, Executive Director of ADFAC-Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, with a presentation about their services to Campbell and surrounding communities.

Our meeting last week started with a presentation of the Paul Harris Fellow to Rotarian Brandon Johnson presented by Rotarian Logan Hickman.
Thanks to our guest speaker Jason Bryan, Senior Community Engagement Manager, CleanSpark, a data center developer, who also took questions.

During yesterday’s Rotary meeting, President Sharon Wilson presented the year in review discussing service projects and achievements. Sharon was also awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award, presented by Rotarian Logan Hickman. BIG thanks to Sharon for a fantastic year!

The Rotary President gavel was then given to upcoming President, Tracie Davis, CEO Campbell County Children’s Center. Tracie shared her vision for the upcoming year, which we are sure will be a great one!
