If you purchase a Bash ticket it includes a membership and you do not need to purchase seperately.

Attention: Registered Participants and Volunteers for Jakes Day

Jakes Day 2024 is here! This is our 13th year hosting Jakes Day and we are very excited. We look forward to having you! We have a full list of kids attending and we are hoping for a fun filled day. Please let me know if you are unable to attend. We have several kids on a wait list that would love to come in your place, if you are no longer able to attend as planned. We will not be accepting any registrations at the door. Jakes Day will take place rain or shine. Please dress as weather indicates. Parents are invited to eat lunch with us at no charge.

See schedule below. VOLUNTEERS must be registered and at the volunteer meeting at 8:00 AM, PLEASE don't be late. This is where we will tell you where you are stationed to help! If you have signed up to help, we have you stationed, have ordered you a t-shirt, and are counting on you to be there! PLEASE show up!

Kids participating, please arrive no later than 8:30 AM.

Volunteers or parents that can also help with setup this week, we would appreciate your help! We will be working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights this week at 6:00 PM. Also on Saturday, we would appreciate anyone that can volunteer to arrive early to finish setup and also stay around afterwards and help us clean up.

WE ARE LOCATED JUST EAST OF THE FOOD LION SHOPPING CENTER—LOOK FOR BLACK BOARD FENCE AND A FIELD FULL OF PEOPLE AND VEHICLES.

We have a great time organizing this event each year. It is a lot of hard work by a group of dedicated volunteers. Be sure to thank our volunteers if you have a chance on Saturday. Our committee members will be wearing RED shirts and other volunteers will be wearing BLUE shirts. We will be providing t shirts to the kids again this year so remember to keep those with you during the day if you wish to tie dye them at that rotation. We look forward to seeing you Saturday! Also, if you can stay around Saturday and help us clean up, that would be much appreciated. Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes and/or rain boots in case it is muddy! We will have water available throughout the day at all the stations. Contact us if you have any questions.

Committee meeting tonight at 6:30 at Ball Farm. We will be discussing plans for Jakes Day August 12 and presenting 2 scholarships to local seniors. Come join us! We would love to have more volunteers! We will feed you supper!

Just a reminder of our Annual Fundraising Banquet this Thursday night, June 15th at Ball Farm. Doors will open at 5:30, games all evening, meal, live and silent auctions, along with gun drawings. If you have already purchased a Gun Bash ticket (sold out), this includes one (1) meal only. If you anticipate bringing a guest, they will need a single admission ticket to attend. Please contact any committee member to purchase additional meal tickets or to purchase membership tickets to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
