****Informational Post for Softball and Baseball 2025 spring season****
Hello on behalf of the LaCygne Ball Association we wanted to send out a post with some information on the upcoming season.
This season we have come together with Parker, Mound City, Pleasanton and Redfield. Due to the size of all the communities we have made the decision to adjust the age division and some of the rules. This season we will have competitive T-ball with coach pitch (5-7 yrs of age), modified kid pitch (7-11 yrs of age) and player pitch (12-14 yrs of age). Players can play up in age groups but not down. T-ball will be broke down with girls playing with a softball and boys playing with a baseball. If there is enough interest we will offer an in house beginner T-ball ages 3-4
We are going to have a Parents meeting on March 25th to answer any questions that you may have.
We are also looking for more parents that would like to be part of the Board to send us a message or come to a board meeting. This Association relies on the community to continue to build and improve and provide a local summer rec baseball/softball program.
